CSI on team that wins DC Preservation Award for 4th year in a row
[05-06-2015] The restoration of the Clara Barton site on 7th St NW, Washington DC recieved an award from the DC Preservation League. The site, a time capsule of Barton's Bureau for Missing Soldiers that was her office and home after the Civil War, was restored by the General Services Administration (GSA). CSI worked with OLBN to stabilize and recreate the office as it was left after the site was abondoned and left in the late 19th Century. The careful restoration preserved much of the remaining historic fabric while reproducing what was lost using inforamation gathered from the site.
